A guided headphone audio work led by the artist along the promenade and beach at St Leonards on Sea. Meet Camilla at sunrise for a walk and if you’re brave enough - a swim.

GONG BATH
A meditation in sound. The Vibrations from a range of gongs envelop you in a bath-like way, helping your mind and body relax, reset and rejuvenate. Local Gong specialist Karen Haylor creates a musical outpouring of fascinating tone chaos that is uniquely pleasing to the mind and pleasurably felt by our human body.

SmallAudioArt_ Treasure Hunt & Sound Walk Explore the town through a self-guided audio treasure hunt, discovering QR codes linked to windows, doors, and pictures that unlock intimate audio stories from our global community.

WORKSHOP
Learn how to record a variety of sound sources with contact microphones, learn how to process the recorded sounds and have the opportunity to record a live collaborative soundscape. Participants will also learn how to use hydrophones, which are microphones that pick up vibrations from bodies of water.

FAMILY WORKSHOP (6—11 YEAR OLD)
A hands-on workshop for families. Come and explore a range of microphones which reveal unheard 'hidden' sounds, try them out, and be involved in a collaborative live foley audio work.

LISTENING INSTALLATION
The Golden Tape is a mixtape of human wonderment. On each tape is a collection of artists sharing their human essence: secretive and beloved delights, pleasures, grief, ritual, desires, and emotions that inform our humanity. Tapes will be hidden throughout the festival venues. Grab one, take it to the Tape Library, and listen to these treasures.

INSTALLATION
Walk, run, swim, drive, fly and meander around the world as the Radiophonic Travel Agency transports you to places near and far. Freed from guidebooks and narration our journeys allow you to explore unusual and sometimes impossible locations.

LISTENING EVENT
Listen to natural sounds and intergenerational witty and melancholy audio stories about motherly listening, feeling and caring. [No useful tips to be a better mum will be provided.]

LIVE PERFORMANCE
Brid Addison-Child and Jesse Lawson are both audio artists and drag performers interested in the intersection between queer performance and audio making. Drag Brunch will weave live performance with interview recordings and archival material, exploring the rich landscape of audio-making outside of the traditional radio industry.

Whose voices do we choose to include—and whose are left out? As audio makers, storytellers and documenters, these decisions are never neutral. But could there ever be a case for deliberate omission in response to decades of conscious and unconscious exclusion?

INSTALLATION
Botanismi is a gentle journey into the world of plants. An attempt to weave our human experiences with the green world that surrounds us and that we often forget about in our busy animal lives.

LIVE PERFORMANCE
Sound artist Gerard Gormley and violinist Gascia Ouzounian present a live performance that transforms the Barbican Estate into a resonant collaborator. Based on an album by the same name, the live performance documents a process that treats architecture not merely as a container for sound but as an active sonic medium.

Statue of Liberty is an all-star big band devised for XMTR and Sono-Electro 2025 by Ed Baxter. a monumental piece of conceptual art, designed to welcome people crossing the Channel at a time of encroaching fascism, small-mindedness and intolerance. Two dozen exceptional players from diverse scenes and genres come together to realise a mind-boggling repertoire which embraces aberrant  standards, free improv, electronica, art rock and ambient.
