Isobel Anderson is a musician, sound artist, and Founder & Director of Girls Twiddling Knobs, a global online education platform and podcast dedicated to providing radically different female-celebrating music technology resources and education programmes.
For the past 15+ years, Isobel’s practice has combined composed sound, field recording, voice, walking and physical performance to explore our felt sense of place in dialogue with the self. She holds a PhD in Sonic Arts from Queen’s University Belfast’s renowned Sonic Arts Research Centre, and her four solo albums have collectively amassed nearly 30 million Spotify streams.
