In Throwing, a collaboration between audio maker Lucy Dearlove and ceramic artist Rachel Karasik, participants - potters - will enter the world’s first audio-only ceramics studio and be guided through the process of crafting intricate artistic works from clay, while learning about the South East coast’s rich ceramic practice and history. Lucy Dearlove is an audio producer based in St Leonards with a keen interest in making and craft. Her food podcast Lecker is a two-time winner of the Fortnum & Mason Podcast of the Year award.

Rachel Karasik is a ceramics artist, producer and former chef based in Hastings. Alongside her creative practice, she regularly teaches ceramics classes.
