Join Axel as they present something between a live performance, workshop and show and tell, exploring the binaural possibilities of storytelling.

Axel Kacoutié (they/them) is an Audio Artist and Poet who's been weaving words, sound, and music to challenge the familiar and revive a magic in the mundane.

Their work has been featured on major broadcast stations, publications, and podcasts, as well as at several international awards and festivals, including the Signal Awards, the Third Coast International Audio Festival, the Sarah Lawrence Audio Fiction Awards, the Prix Marulić, the Grand Prix Nova Awards, and many more. Recent collaborations include Falling Tree Productions as Series Curator and Producer for Short Cuts and "Foul Play" as the Series Composer, Mixer and Sound Designer.

With the introduction of Dolby Atmos into Axel's practice, they have been keen to engage more with Archive and Memory to conjure audio maps of less-familiar worlds, timelines, and possibilities.
