Buy Me a Drink and I'll Tell You a Story (S2E1)
Thomas Dudkiewizc (URLAND)

29 min

A bar. A piano playing in the background. In the corner, a mysterious man is waiting. If you buy him a drink… he’ll tell you a story.

What follows is a surreal, cinematic tale. Sometimes horrifying, sometimes philosophical, always immersive. Each episode, another drink. Each story, stranger than the last. One man, one bar, infinite stories.

Season 1: From the bottom of the ocean to a storm in the desert, from ancient stones to time loops in Room 304. Thomas weaves a masterful tapestry of reality, myth, horror, and memory.

Season 2: The story continues. The second season promises four new unique immersive stories. Life in the wild west, mindcontrolling government experiments, a film noir detective and a very special kind of cider.

All stories are connected through an overarching storyline. But you can also just listen to the separate stories.

n his neverending pursuit to uncover the Story of all Stories, URLAND’s master storyteller Thomas (known for The Last Chapters, Bedtime Stories, and Bobby Baxter) and sound designer Tomas Loos present Buy Me a Drink and I’ll Tell You a Story, an immersive audio fiction series available online. Thomas, the man of infinite stories, voices all characters and writes all episodes.

A sonic meditation on juggling. There is of course the physical act of throwing balls (and not stones) in the air but of course juggling contains so many other metaphores for how we manage different aspects of our lives.
