Audio Flux is a home for short-form, innovative audio, inviting people far and wide to create short “fluxworks” in response to a set of prompts. For each “circuit” they work with a creative partner who inspires these prompts.

Hailing from Hastings, UK*, Circuit 06 creative partner is artist, educator and researcher Lorna Hamilton-Brown. Lorna has long advocated for the recognition of Black knitters and crocheters, and is known as “The Banksy of Knitting,” for her use of the medium in social commentary.

For Circuit 06 each fluxwork must: 

  • Run exactly three minutes

  • Take inspiration from the theme: “CREATIVE TENSION”

  • Include audible REPETITION (nodding to the rhythm of knitting)

  • And… tell us, what COLOR is your fluxwork?
